We brought to life a series of unique and memorable events, ranging from elegant weddings to themed corporate functions. Zeitz MOCAA Gala Dinner | February 2024
The Zeitz MOCAA GALA was the museum’s annual fundraiser and a highly awaited grand evening in the social calendar.
At the Zeitz MOCAA Ocular Lounge, we transformed a corporate event into an immersive and otherworldly experience with vibrant hues and lush blooms.
As guests approached the entrance, they were greeted by the enchanting sight of a lush floral arch. This botanical masterpiece served as a majestic gateway, inviting guests to step into a world of refined elegance and unforgettable experiences.
Inspired by a maximalist flourish of colour, the venue burst into a celebration of vibrant hues. An array of blooms, from electric pinks to deep purples and fiery oranges, created a dynamic look and feel that celebrated the joyous clash of colours and textures. Each petal showcasing the finest details, contributing to a lush and otherworldly atmosphere.
Contrasting with the extravagant and lush installations, the tables were dressed in simplistic and bespoke floral designs, complemented by intricate candles. Drawing inspiration from Ikebana, our arrangements celebrated the beauty of imperfection.
Emceed by South African model and businesswoman Jo-Ann Strauss, the evening included a seated dinner, tours of the museum exhibitions, and the awarding of the Zeitz MOCAA Honorary Award for Artistic Excellence and the Zeitz MOCAA Honorary Award for Philanthropic Achievements. Guests were entertained by South African singer and songwriter Simphiwe Dana and Capetonian artist Nobuhle Ashanti.

Lena and Jurg’s wedding at Ocular Lounge was a beautiful blend of modern elegance and artistic flair. Their vision, characterised by organic, contemporary, and textured elements, came to life with a unique colour palette of neutrals and soft, muted tones. The ceremony featured a striking steel structure adorned with cascading arrangements of fresh and dried florals complementing the venue’s avant-garde architecture. At the reception, minimalistic yet impactful floral arrangements, interspersed with fresh produce, created a visually stunning and unique setting. Cloud-like hanging installations composed of dried and fresh textures added a sense of wonder and artistry, transforming the venue into a canvas of modern romance. Lena and Jurg’s wedding was not just a celebration—it was an artistic expression of their journey, blending organic textures, muted tones, and contemporary design into a timeless and breathtaking day.
