Cobus & Lindi’s Wedding Celebration | Oct’24
Dreaming of a neutral colour palette for your wedding? Cobus & Lindi’s celebration at La Roche Estate in Franschhoek was the epitome of neutral elegance with a touch of magic. The venue was transformed into a haven of romance, featuring soft draping and fairy lights that bathed the space in a warm glow. Baby’s breath clouds floated whimsically above the dance floor, accented by a custom neon sign, creating a modern yet enchanting atmosphere.
The picturesque stone and cement finishes of La Roche Estate provided the perfect backdrop for this timeless affair. Our a|FLORAL team brought the vision to life with stunning floral arrangements displayed in champagne coupes and the bride’s bouquet adorned with delicate pearl details. Highlights included pearl accents on the bridal table, customised stationery, golden touches, and an intimate ambiance created by candlelight and LED lamps.
From the tiled plinth at the ceremony to every carefully curated detail, this celebration was a graceful blend of sophistication and charm—a testament to love and the art of storytelling through design.

Kirsty & Jayson’s wedding at Johannesdal 1207 was a celebration of love infused with artistic flair and breathtaking views of the Banhoek Valley. The design was a harmonious blend of natural elegance and modern sophistication, with a fresh neutral palette complemented by lush greenery. Unique touches like fresh tomatoes and artichokes were incorporated into the décor, adding an organic yet unexpected element to the tablescapes. Sculptural pieces served as striking décor accents, seamlessly blending art into the celebration. Modern black details added contrast, while green furniture pieces tied the aesthetic together, creating a refined and inviting ambiance. This celebration was a perfect reflection of the couple’s creative vision and love for timeless yet innovative design.

The Cape Winemaker’s Guild event at Cavalli was a showcase of refined elegance and sensory delight. Guests arrived to a warm and inviting pre-dinner setting, where furniture in natural tones created a relaxed yet sophisticated ambiance, perfectly complementing the contemporary-meets-timeless aesthetic of the venue. For the corporate dinner, the blank canvas of the space was transformed into a vibrant and immersive experience. Pops of color and texture were artfully introduced through lush floral arrangements and carefully curated elements like citrus, berries, guava, vanilla, and even coffee, creating a sensory journey that delighted both the eyes and the palate. This event beautifully combined innovation with the natural beauty of Cavalli, making it an unforgettable celebration of fine wine and creativity.

The Allianz event, coordinated by LS Consulting and hosted at the historic Vergelegen Estate, was a masterful fusion of culture and design. Guests were transported into a world where the intricate elegance of Delft patterns seamlessly intertwined with the vibrant, bold hues of Malay spice. This captivating “look and feel” celebrated diversity and sophistication, blending timeless Dutch-inspired motifs with the warmth and vibrancy of Cape Malay culture. The setting at Vergelegen added an extra layer of grandeur, with its lush gardens and historic charm providing the perfect backdrop for this uniquely styled event. It was a celebration of color, culture, and creativity, leaving guests inspired and delighted.
