Over the past six months, we’ve had the privilege of creating experiences that brought people together in meaningful ways. From networking cocktails and client appreciation dinners to immersive brand experiences and beautiful weddings, every event added a new chapter to the a|CREATE story.
As we look back on the start of 2026, we’re proud to share some of the moments that have shaped our season so far. Each celebration reflected the vision of our clients and the creativity of our team.
We’re excited to share a few of our highlights with you, and we’re looking forward to everything the rest of the year has in store.
Taryn & Daniel Wedding – January 2026
// Taryn and Daniel embraced the striking architecture of Zeitz MOCAA, allowing every design choice to enhance the space rather than compete with it.
Flowing draping softened the raw concrete interiors, while reflective black tables and candlelight brought warmth to the celebration. As the evening unfolded, the styling balanced bold design with understated elegance, creating a setting that felt both intimate and dramatic.
The floral story unfolded through masses of rich red roses, sculptural greenery and cascading installations that guided guests from the ceremony into the reception. Long banquet tables overflowed with abundant arrangements, while every floral detail echoed the scale and character of the museum. Together, the styling and florals created a celebration that felt timeless, deeply romantic and completely at home within one of Cape Town’s most iconic venues.

Networking Cocktail – March 2026
// For this networking cocktail, our team wanted to move away from a traditional corporate setting.
Instead, we focused on creating a space that felt relaxed, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. Every styling choice was made to encourage conversation and bring people together.
A rich blue palette became the starting point for the design. It flowed through the florals, furniture, candles, and decorative pieces. Meanwhile, warm timber, woven textures, and handcrafted ceramics softened the venue’s industrial architecture. Layered lounge settings also gave guests comfortable spaces to pause, connect, and continue the conversation.
The floral design followed the same thinking. Rather than filling the room with oversized arrangements, we focused on sculptural pieces with texture and movement. Blue hydrangeas, eucalyptus, and thistles added depth without overwhelming the space.
As a result, the florals felt like a natural extension of the styling and brought the entire concept together.

Geena & Bengi’s Wedding – April 2026
// The floral styling for Geena and Benji’s wedding at Nooitgedacht celebrated the beauty of the estate’s natural surroundings.
Instead of competing with the landscape, every arrangement felt thoughtfully woven into it. Layers of ornamental grasses, textured foliage and seasonal blooms created depth and movement throughout the ceremony space. Meanwhile, terracotta vessels introduced warmth and an organic, garden-inspired feel.
Shades of burnt orange, apricot, blush and soft cream added vibrant moments without overwhelming the setting. The timber ceremony structure remained intentionally understated, allowing the florals to become the focal point. Finally, the bridal bouquet echoed the same playful palette with sculptural anthuriums, calla lilies, dahlias, tulips and cascading amaranthus.
Together, every detail created a celebration that felt relaxed, contemporary and deeply connected to nature.

Client Appreciation Dinner – March 2026
// For this client appreciation dinner, creating the right atmosphere was just as important as the setting itself.
We wanted every guest to feel welcomed, valued, and completely at ease. Therefore, the design focused on warmth, elegance, and understated detail.
Soft draping transformed the venue and introduced a sense of intimacy to the open space. At the same time, sculptural lighting, layered lounges, and a refined colour palette created a relaxed environment. Deep reds, soft corals, and warm neutrals added richness without overwhelming the room.
The floral design echoed the same approach. Rather than large arrangements, we used smaller compositions that encouraged conversation across the tables. Anemones, roses, and gerberas brought vibrant colour, while soft moss added texture and contrast.
Finally, candles and cordless lamps completed the setting and created a welcoming glow as the evening unfolded.

Kira & Jason’s Wedding – March 2026
// The floral styling for Jason and Kira’s wedding at Anura embraced timeless elegance with a fresh, contemporary edge.
Crisp white blooms and abundant greenery created a striking contrast against the vineyard landscape. Every floral element felt refined, allowing the natural beauty of the setting to remain the focus.
The ceremony centred on a clean white chuppah, beautifully softened by an asymmetrical floral installation.
Layers of white orchids, roses, lilies and delicate baby’s breath added texture, depth and softness throughout the design.
Meanwhile, cascading foliage introduced gentle movement and framed the couple from every angle. The all-white palette created a sense of calm while adding effortless sophistication to the ceremony space.
Finally, the bridal bouquet echoed the same refined aesthetic with cascading orchids, garden roses and airy baby’s breath.
Together, every floral detail reflected understated luxury, creating a celebration that felt romantic, modern and beautifully timeless.

Throughout the day, thoughtful details, including scalloped umbrellas, curated lounge settings and flowing ceiling draping, invited guests to slow down and settle into the celebration.
The floral design followed the same refined approach, proving that simplicity can leave the greatest impression. White roses and delicate seasonal blooms were arranged with intention, allowing each stem to stand on its own. As daylight faded, candlelight added warmth to the reception, while the soft florals echoed the effortless beauty of the setting. Together, the styling and florals created a celebration that felt timeless, welcoming and beautifully considered.

Entertainment Reimagined Part 2 – May 2026
// One of the most rewarding parts of Entertainment Reimagined Part 2 was changing how guests experienced the space.
The styling didn’t rely on bold colours or oversized installations. Instead, it celebrated natural textures, warm lighting, and carefully layered details. Dried botanicals formed the heart of the design. Their sculptural shapes added height without overwhelming the venue. Meanwhile, woven pendant lights echoed the same organic forms.
Timber furniture, soft upholstery, and neutral tones balanced the museum’s striking architecture. As a result, every setting felt inviting and beautifully understated. As the evening unfolded, the lighting became part of the story. Small table lamps, woven pendants, and subtle uplighting brought every corner to life. They highlighted the floral styling while creating warmth throughout the venue.
Together, the décor, florals, and lighting transformed the space into an experience guests could truly settle into.
